Directions for Heart Eye Frame

Step 1: Gather all of the materials needed

Step 2:  Cut a heart from cereal box

Cut a medium-sized heart on a piece of a cereal box.  This would depend on how big you want your frame would be.

Step 3:  Trace a heart on construction paper

Trace the heart board on a piece of brown construction paper.

Trace another one on the side of the first one and provide some space in between the two.  The space in between would serve as the bridge of the eye frame.

Step 4:   Draw a smaller brown heart

Draw a smaller version of the heart in the middle of each one.  This should be identical to the bigger heart.  The small heart hole will pave the way for the frame’s eye-opening.

Step 5:   Make two connected hearts

Cut the brown frame from the paper and make sure to have a bridge in between the two hearts.

Step 6:   Take out the middle hearts

Cut the small hearts in the middle using a small, pointed scissor.  This will create a hole in the frame now.

Step 7:   Apply  glue

Apply considerable amounts of white glue to the hearts and spread the glue evenly using the paintbrush.  The bridge of the heart frame should NOT be included in this process.

Step 8:   Add sprinkles

Generously sprinkle red glitters on the hearts while the glue is still wet.  Let the glue dry so that the glitters would firmly adhere to the body of the frame.

Step 9:   Glue the red pipe cleaners

Hot glue the red pipe cleaners on each end of the heart frame.  This is the temple of the frame.

Step 10:   Fold at the temples

Fold the temples of the frame at 90 degrees angle.  Curve the free ends of the temple downwards to accommodate the shape of the ears.
