Fold your pattern paper in half and draw one half of the owl, including its head, wing, and foot. This will help you make a symmetrical owl. After drawing, carefully cut out your owl pattern..

Using the owl pattern you just made, cut out the owl's main body from brown crafting felt. This piece will form the background of our owl.

Fold the owl pattern along its side and cut out to isolate the wing portion. This way, you'll have a separate wing pattern.

Now, using your scissors, cut out the foot of the owl from the pattern..

Take the head and body part of your pattern (excluding the ears) and use it to cut a green piece of felt. This green felt will be our owl's frontal body..

Glue the googly eyes onto the narrow upper part of the green body piece. This begins to bring our owl to life.

Gently remove any excess felt from above the owl's eyes to clean up the look.

Position and glue the green body onto the center of the brown body, making sure that the brown head portion peeks out from above.

Cut two small strips from the orange felt and attach them to the sides of the owl's body as little wings or side feathers.

Snip a small, pointed triangle from orange felt for the owl's beak and glue it below the eyes.

From the green felt, cut a tiny shamrock. This adds a lucky charm to our owl.

Cut a 5 to 8 cm piece of the green pipe cleaner. Glue one end to your shamrock, making a magical wand.

Craft a small hat from green felt that will fit your owl's head. Add a tiny strip of black felt around the brim for decoration.

Attach the shamrock wand to the owl's left side and then glue the hat onto its head at a jaunty angle.

Cut a 7 to 10 cm piece of crochet thread, form a loop, and glue it to the back of the owl's hat. This will be how you hang your keychain.

You've done it! Your adorable, lucky owl keychain is ready to bring a bit of magic wherever you go.
