How To Make A Cool DVD Bracelet

Black craft felt
Black Velcro
A broken DVD
Scissors
Hot glue gun

First, cut a strip from the black craft felt. Make it about 3 centimeters wide. This is going to be the base of your bracelet, so make sure it’s nice and straight.

Step 3

Wrap the felt strip around your wrist to see how long it needs to be. Everyone’s wrist is a different size, so cut the felt to fit yours just right. Leave a little extra room for the Velcro closure.

Step 4

Now, take your broken DVD and cut it into random shapes. Don’t make them too big; small, shiny pieces will look best on the bracelet.

Step 5

Using a hot glue gun, stick the DVD pieces onto the black felt strip. Leave a little space between each piece to make the bracelet really sparkle.

Step 6

Keep gluing those shiny DVD pieces onto the felt until it’s totally covered. But, remember to leave a small blank area at one end for the Velcro that will close your bracelet.

Step 7

Cut a small piece of Velcro that matches the blank space you left on the felt strip. This will be how you open and close the bracelet.

Step 8

Now, glue the Velcro pieces to the ends of the bracelet. One piece goes on the top of one end, and the other goes on the bottom of the opposite end. This way, they can stick together and keep the bracelet on your wrist.

Step 9

Put the bracelet on your wrist. You might need to adjust it a little to make it fit perfectly. If so, just carefully peel the Velcro off and re-glue it in a better spot.
